Women For DeSales 2026-2027 Funding Requests

Women for DeSales is a philanthropic giving circle of special interest to women which seeks to fund innovative programming that enhances the student experience at DeSales University which typically exceeds or does not fall under department or student organization budgets. Last year, this group of donors collectively distributed more than $55,000 to departments, clubs, and student groups.

Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 funding year. Anyone interested in proposing a funding request for Women for DeSales is asked to complete the questions below.

Requests must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Recipients for funds will be notified in April 2026.

Funds will be available July 1, 2026, and all expenses/activities related to proposed projects should be completed by June 30, 2027.

Multiple requests may be submitted by the same department.

Requests from student groups must be accompanied by a faculty or staff advisor. Collaborative funding requests are encouraged.
Proposals that are moved on to the next round for funding should be prepared to make a brief presentation (in person or via submitted video) when Women for DeSales gathers for their annual Distribution Lunch on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Please Note: Project funds must directly impact DeSales University students. Projects should align with one or more pillars of the current strategic plan. We cannot guarantee that all requests will be funded or fully funded. Please note that funding requests that do not meet the application criteria may not be reviewed through the fund distribution process. Brevity in proposal responses is acceptable.
