    Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales Class of 1975 50th Reunion


    The DeSales University Office of Alumni Relations is thrilled to invite the Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales Class of 1975 back to campus on June 7, 2025 to celebrate your 50th Reunion: “Still Crazy After All These Years!” Congratulations on such a remarkable milestone! 
     
    The main event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the DeSales University Center. The evening will include dinner and drinks along with plenty of reminiscing. The classes of 1973, 1974, 1976, and 1977 are also welcome to join us. There will be mass in Connelly Chapel at 4:30 p.m. Dress for both events is casual. 
     
    You can also relive the memories from campus and make new ones with old friends by staying in Aviat Hall dorm for the weekend! Cost is $70/night per room and rooms will be available both Friday and Saturday nights. The rooms are suite-style with your own private bathroom attached. Breakfast will be available in the University Center on Sunday morning for an additional fee.

    Alumni Memorial Mass

    4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. | Connelly Chapel

    • Gather together in Connelly Chapel as we remember our deceased alumni. We will have special intentions as part of the Memorial Mass for our lost loved ones from the Class of 1975 as they celebrate their 50th class reunion.

    • The main event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the DeSales University Center. The evening will include dinner and drinks along with plenty of reminiscing.

    Penelope

    2:00 p.m. | Schubert Theatre in Labuda Center for Performing Arts

    • The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, hosted every summer on the DeSales campus, presents Penelope. Tickets based on availability. Please contact PSF’s box office to purchase.

With bourbon in hand, she grabs the mic to deliver her side of the story, recounting her twenty-year wait on the small island of Ithaca while her husband, Odysseus, was off playing hero. This witty musical flips the script on the dutiful wife history wants you to believe in—Penelope’s done being a footnote in her husband’s epic; this time, she's writing her own odyssey. With soulful songs, razor-sharp storytelling, and an onstage band doubling as her modern-day Greek chorus, Penelope transforms the tale you thought you knew into a solo cabaret act like no other. It’s raw, fiery, and fiercely original as she steps out of the shadows to set the record straight, and she’s not holding back. This isn’t just a retelling; it’s a revolution.
